Test Post

Bloged in News by Mike Tuesday September 5, 2006

This is just a test post using Windows Live Writer. I think I should start actually using this site again. But then again, I’ve said that before, eh?

I gotta get my copy of Photoshop working again. Then I can start designing again. I think I would enjoy that.

Compter Restore

Bloged in Journal, News by Mike Sunday May 21, 2006

Well, I managed to do it without any help from Staples, but I restored my computer without any bootable media. I never thought it was a good idea for Sony to ask you to create the bootable DVDs, but I guess it’s my fault for not doing it. Now I can’t get onto the restore partition either. I could read the file table from Knoppix, but I couldn’t read the actual files. All I could do was re-build from scratch. Which means most of my files are gone. That includes some of the files on my site.

The one thing that I regret the most about this is not having my iTunes anymore. I HAD a backup of it on my external hard drive, but that got messed up during the backup. I’d like to say the irony was not lost on me, but, ironically, it was in digital format, and lost as well.

Yes, my humor’s lame. Sue me.

S’been a while

Seems to me, it’s not the first time I’ve made a post with that title. I haven’t received a call from ”her” in a while now. I’ve yet to decide if that’s a good thing or not. I need to find something to do with everything I’ll save in the mean time. I figure the site could be it.

Taking Back

Bloged in Journal, Moving to Alberta by Mike Tuesday January 3, 2006

Well, I haven’t achived the things I set out to do, but I can’t say I didn’t try. Now though, I don’t know what I want to do. Can’t say I had a very effective back-up plan, now, can I?

I’ve got a nicer car. I want to go down to S’toon to find out what I need to do to get into university. But I think now I got a problem with that. I want to go mainly to start interacting with people my own age again, and by the time I start, they’ll be finishing. Unless I can find a way to skip a few years of University… which wouldn’t be something I’d be all too fond of doing anyway.

So I’m here with no idea where to go.Or do I go anywhere at all?

Seriously, Mrs. Director, what’s my motivation?
