I still fail to understand what it is about this woman…

The day was good. I got quite a bit done, AND I made a sale! That was cool. Oh, and, as of today, I am officially a thousandaire. Four digits, baby! I’ll be back in Calgary in no time. OR Edmonton. I still haven’t officially decided which city will be so enchanted.

I get to housesit again this weekend. I’ll have the Explorer for work. Sahweet.

Getting up this early should be illegal. I remember a time where I would finally get to bed at this time. Now I have to go work on a Digital Video Recorder to make it work on a network that seems to me is constantly changing. They just recently changed the IP of the DVR itself. For some reason that must elude me. Unless they needed to do it to get their connection to the City Hall to work. Which still isn’t up yet. And I have this feeling once it is, I’ll have to come in to fix things again. It’s like every single thing they change affects the network.

I’m going to eat, I’m going to do my job, and then I’m going to kill the guy that invented the morning.

Oh but Spider-Man 2 is out today! I’m thinking of dragging Zachari out with me to see it if he doesn’t already have plans. Or even if he does. ‘Cause I’m a mean ol’ brodda.

Arg.

Go Green

So I get all “Yay, I’m going to vote. Sure it’s for Green, but maybe everyone else is disgusted with the major players that everyone else will vote for them too. Y’know? But because of everything that’s been going on lately, i’m not registered. The census was here before we moved an in Calgary after.
I’m going to next year.

UPDATE: I got all registered and I voted. Did you?

Ana - We Are Lyrics

Bloged in Art, Journal by Mike Saturday June 26, 2004
Ana Johnsson

See the devil on the door step now
My oh my
Telling everyone just how to live their lives

Sliding down the Information Highway
Buying in just like a bunch of fools
Time is ticking and we can’t go back
My oh my

What about the world today?
What about the place that we call home?
We’ve never been so many and
We’ve never been so alone

Keep watching from your picket fence
Keep talking but you make no sense
You say we’re not responsible
We Are
We Are

You wash your hands You come out clean
You fail to reconize the enemy’s within
You say we’re not responsible
We Are
We Are

One step forward making two steps back
My oh my
Riding piggy on the bad boy’s back for life

Lining up for the grand illusion
No answers for no questions asked
Lining up for the execution
Without knowing why

It’s all about the power and by taking control
Breaking the will and raising the soul
They suck us dry until there’s nothing left
My oh my My oh my

What about the world today?
What about the place that we call home?
We’ve never been so many and
We’ve never been so alone

UPDATE: Lyrics fixed thanks to Mirrie!

UPDATE: More lyrics fixes thanks to Ana’s Official Website, which will be going on my favorites, despite its non-englishness. Maybe I’ll learn a new language…
